A Holistic-Creative Centre is being planned for Spain or one of the Mediterranean islands, the intention of which will be to encourage laterally-thinking people from all walks of life who have a desire to explore deeper into their own unique abilities.  The centre will attract specialist teachers from the world of healing and creative arts - meditation, art, sculpture, writing, sound, colour, sacred geometry, geo-biology, feng shui, etc.  It will be a place where people can study all aspects of fine and subtle energy through holistic and creative means; a centre in harmony with both its natural surroundings and the forward-direction of current and future technology.  The intention will be from the healing arts/creative arts perspective, and the energetic, harmonious connection between the two.

Originally from Richmond, near London, Jean Gilhead has been living in Spain since 1995 building up her holistic interior design practice, Best Move Forward. She studied visual art and interior design in London and incorporates the ancient, oriental art of placement known as feng shui (acupuncture for rooms and spaces) into her work, having studied under a Feng Shui Master.   She now has many years of work experience in this field and teaches her methods on courses.  Her background includes membership of the College of Psychic Studies and Tibetan Buddhist studies for several years.  She is also a Reiki Master and Reconnection Level III Facilitator.  As a communication skills trainer she teaches Creative Writing and Public Speaking.  She is also author of the novel: ‘Living in Bright Shadows’.

Jean believes that only a deeper awareness of harmony within our internal/external living and working environment can successfully move us forward through the 21st Century and beyond.  Starting this Centre was her main reason for moving to Spain and she is now looking to attract like-minded people and benefactors to put money and energy into buying a large house and grounds to become a development/research/study centre for a small, supportive community to live and for others to visit and investigate all aspects of healing and creative energy.  The goal is to create an education-retreat centre; a place of unity and harmony where, through the individual and combined energies of holistic and creative means, people can investigate and learn more about themselves, their neighbours and the natural world; connecting inner purpose to outer work while discovering personal strengths and potential.  Financial backers will have the benefit of free/part free holidays, study breaks or retreats for themselves or their employees.

The search is on for a large country-house set in its own unspoilt grounds, with a wide, open terrace at the front with views of the sea, natural walks, local amenities, etc.  The area of land is to be large enough for ecologically-friendly accommodation cabins to be built and studios added as necessary.   The centre will be self-sustainable with solar panels and organically grown produce to provide all practical energy needs, to enable all to work in co-operation with nature and the local residents.  It will be a place of beauty, openness and tranquillity for exploring and developing all aspects of artistic energy, vibration and spiritual illumination, using specialists, trainers and facilitators - renowned for their individual approach - from all over the world.
